Robert L. Strecker

Robert L. Strecker, Sr., age 84 passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
Born March 21, 1931 in Akron, he was the son of Frank L. and Clara J. (Zuendel) Strecker.
Bob was honorably discharged from the U. S. Air Force, having served from 1951 until 1955 as a Staff Sargent. His dedicated work ethic lead to a successful career as a top Real Estate Broker in the Akron area for more than 50 years. His love of God, family, country, work, as well as the Cleveland Indians, kept him happy and content.
Survivors include his children: Pepper (Becky) Sullivan, Becky (Chet) Eldredge, Debi (Bug) Adams, Robert (Theresa) Strecker, Jr., Theri Salka, Cathy Ray, and Mary (Paul) Thibeau; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and dearest friend Patrice Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Sue; children: Donna Russo, Patty Armour, and Billy Sullivan; brothers, Richard and Frank, and a sister Mary Ann Strecker.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 1 Akron General Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307-2463.
Dad was loving, dedicated, and faithful to the end.
