Robert Pershing Webb, 91, died December 5, 2009.
Born in Akron, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and member of American Legion Post # 0888. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber and had been the owner of Akron Appliance Service Company.
Preceded in death in July by his wife, Wanda, and sister, Ruby Denious, he is survived by his daughters, Barbara Daniel Robert, II Jones and Robbie Bill Oros; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 10 a.m. THURSDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. with Kevin Dejournett officiating. Interment with Military Rites at Copley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home WEDNESDAY, 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 1815 W. Market St. #301, Akron, Ohio 44313.
