Robert F. Young, Sr., 78, passed away November 13, 2012.
He was born in Akron, Ohio December 12, 1933 to Eugene T. and Zola Young and was a lifetime area resident.
Preceded in death in September by his wife of 57 years, Shirley; in October by his son, Dennis; by brother, Melvin Young; and sister, Hazel Thompson; he is survived by his sons, Richard (Donna), Tarry, Robert, Jr.; daughter, Melanie (Kenneth) Cauthen; daughters-in-law, Sandy and Jackie; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
Special thank-you to Dr. David Jackson for the care that was given to both Bob and Shirley.
Service will be held 11 a.m. MONDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Chaplain Mark Merical officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on SUNDAY from 4 to 6 p.m.
