Rodney W. Vargo, 58, died October 31, 2008.
A longtime area resident, he was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Rotary Club. He retired as president of Falls Savings Bank after 37 years in banking.
Preceded in death by his father, Leonard S. Vargo; he is survived by his mother, Rosemary; wife of 37 years, Jeannie of Kent; daughters, Melissa Tony Spicer and Kim Vargo, both of Cuyahoga Falls; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Gordon Teitzworth of Franklin Township; nieces, Connie Mark Rockhold and Joan Teitzworth; nephew, Jeff Teitzworth.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. TUESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home MONDAY 4-7 p.m. and one hour before services Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market St., #108, Akron 44313.
