Roger A Lipster

Roger A. Lipster, 83, died February 8, 2019.
Born September 12, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to Herbert and Florence Dose Lipster, he was a U.S. Army veteran. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, he retired from AT&T after 40 years of service, having started at Ohio Bell at the age of 18.
Preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn; infant son, Michael; brothers, Donald Lipster and Norman Lipster. Roger would say: "my treasures are my children and grandchildren" all of whom survive; children, Stephen (Nicola) Lipster of Groveport, OH, Jennifer Lipster (Jim Lape) of Chardon, OH, David (Lori) Lipster of Columbus, OH and Alan (Christine) Lipster of Copley, OH; grandchildren, Anna (Fehd) Massen, Grace Lipster, Alexander Dimmick, John Dimmick, Joseph Lipster, Michael Lipster, Susan Lipster, Evan Dimmick, Rebecca Lipster, Drew Dimmick, Katherine Lipster, Paige Farren, Gregory Lipster, Kendal Farren; great-granddaughter, Amel Massen.
Services will be held 10 a.m. SATURDAY at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Frerichs officiating. Interment with Military honors at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. FRIDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ding Darling Wildlife Society: www.dingdarlingsociety.org/donation .
