Ronald A. Collins, 73, died August 10, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Pennsboro, West Virginia, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He collected old John Deere tractors, was an avid outdoorsman, sportsman, and loved to garden. A carpenter by trade, he retired from the Kenmore Construction Company.
A devoted husband, brother and uncle, he leaves his wife of 32 years, Jessie L. Collins; sisters, Ramona "Jean" Lamb Ray and Judy Argante; nieces and nephews including Rhonda Lytle and Renee Gray, with whom he was very close; and many friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garold A. and Pat Collins.
Per his request, cremation has taken place. There are no services. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Summa Health System for all of their care and help throughout Ron's illness.
