Ronald R. Motz, 76, a US Army Veteran died July 26, 2014 after a long illness.
He was born January 2, 1938 in Akron, Ohio where he resided his entire life.
He retired from Automotive Electric. Ron was well versed in flying U-control and radio control airplanes, and enjoyed boating, fishing and riding his Gold Wing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Evelyn Motz (Jones), brother Larry L. Motz, and grandson Brian M. O'Shell.
He is survived by his loving, and devoted wife, Edna L. Motz (Howell), sons Jeffrey D. Motz (Chris), Ronnie C. Motz (Donna), daughter, Lori A. O'Shell (David), grandsons, Adam Motz, Zachary Motz, David Motz, and granddaughter, Caitlin O'Shell.
Cremation has taken place and at his request there will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
