Rosemary O Kibble

Rosemary O. Kibble, born 1/13/1926 in Omaha, Neb., passed away on April 30, 2009 in Florida.

She was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Marie Pool; husband, Nat C. Kibble, Jr.; sister, Sallie McHugh and niece, Kathleen McHugh. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen O. Kibble of Philadelphia, Pa., Natalie C. Wagner David of Akron, Ohio; son, Nat C. Kibble III Deborah of Dearborn, Mich.; grandchildren, Daniel Wagner, Jennifer Navarro Scott, Nicole Kibble and Christopher Kibble; niece, Sallie McHugh of York, Pa.; brother-in-law, Don McHugh; cousin, Lois Pool and very special friends, Rosemary DiMaggio, Jane Wyatt and Rodney Sykes all of Akron, Ohio.

Rosemary moved to Akron Ohio with her family in 1934, graduated from Buchtel High School in 1943, and attended the University of Akron. In 1946 she married Nat C. Kibble Jr., and eventually became a partner, and then owner of the family business, Kibble & Son Insurance Agency. She was a former member of Fairlawn-West United Church of Christ and United Church of Christ of Punta Gorda, Fla. She was an active member of the Merriman Hill Garden Club and Fairlawn Country Club. Her love of gardening and all things outdoors was evident in her love of life, and she was an active RV enthusiast.

The family sends special thanks to the wonderful doctors and clinics that provided care for her in her last few months, and to all the great neighbors too numerous to name including Wanda Smith at Alligator Park, without whose help we would have been lost.

Cremation has taken place and a private internment will be held. Celebration of her life will be held at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., on Friday, May.29, 2009 at 3 p.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
