Ruby Cunningham went to God's hands on December 27, 2011.
She was born on October 3, 1920 in Barberton, Ohio and was a lifetime resident of the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls area. She was married to Earl Cunningham for 61 years and had one son, Gerald Cunningham. They have both preceded her in death.
She has a lifetime best friend, Florence Kutnick of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and for the past seven years had an adopted family, Mike and Tracey Touma and their three children. Every holiday, every special occasion was made wonderful because of this special family. They were always there for her, when she was healthy and when she was sick. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, including Judy Waters from Tennessee.
She lived a very active life working for Summit County for over thirty years. In her retirement, she loved to play bingo, cards, read, work on puzzles and search word finds. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace and God Bless you Ruby.
