Born in Washington, Pa., he was a retired carpenter.
Preceded in death by daughter, Betsy Ann; he is survived by son, Bob Maria Sargent; daughters, Candy John Limburg and Brenda David Dowling; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, corner of 23rd St. and Falls Ave., with Pastor Jeff Sanders officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, P.O. Box 2090, Akron 44398.
