Ruth A. Kindelberger

Ruth A. Kindelberger (nee Zimmer), 90, departed this world for her heavenly home early Wednesday morning, January 9, 2013.

Born March 1, 1922 in Livingston County, Ill., Ruth grew up in West Akron and graduated from Buchtel High School in 1939. She also attended Hammel Business College graduating in 1941.

Married in 1947 to Albert, the couple resided in Cuyahoga Falls and raised two sons, Gary and James. From 1957 through 1961, Ruth owned and operated a stenography business from her home, and also served as executive secretary to organizations including Akron Executives, Chartered Life Underwriters and the Akron Sales/Marketing Executives. She was also a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Business and Professional Women, and served as treasurer for two years. Ruth also volunteered for 25 years at the Fallsview Mental Health Center.

Preceded in death by her husband, Albert and brother, Carl, Ruth is survived by her sons, Gary of Atwater and James (Tamera) of Springfield, Ohio, as well as numerous cherished nieces, nephews and other family members.

A celebration and remembrance of her life will be observed Noon SATURDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Rev. Arthur Stennett officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY from 5 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in care of Harbor Light Hospice of Munroe Falls, Ohio. (Billow FALLS Chapel)
