Ruth E Lamb

Ruth E. Lamb Ruth E. Lamb, 88, passed away on September 20, 2011. Ruth was born July 3, 1923 and was a lifelong resident of the Akron area and attended West High School. Ruth graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in accounting and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She met her husband, Bill deceased at the University and they married in 1945. She enjoyed working into her eighties as an accountant for many local businesses and individuals in the area. Ruth was a member of the Bath Church and a previous member of Covenant Community Church and First Grace Church. Ruth is survived by her sons, John Karin of Phoenix, Ariz., Tom Meg of Akron and grandchildren, Zach, Cory, Brian, Andy and Matt. A special thanks to the staff at The Village at St. Edwards, a place where she felt special and at home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 24th at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the William G.
