Born June 1, 1919 in Akron, Ohio to Dee and Esta Gainer, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Akron and had retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Salisbury; sister, Helen Louise Baker; brother-in-law, John Norton Baker; and niece, Vickie Gainer Sabo; she is survived by her brother, Victor Gainer Frances; stepson, Roger B. Salisbury Carol; nephews, Jeffrey Baker Jackie, Ronald Baker Karlene, Douglas Baker Wendy, Roger Gainer Linn; niece, Denise Humbert Alan; as well as Hailey, Kendal, Christoph, Matt, Audrey James, Jeremy, Joe Lindsey, Brian Melissa, Tracy, Hilary, Blair, Morgan, Cayden, Isaac, Lydia, and her pal, Zoe.
Services will be held 3 p.m. TUESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Akron, 263 E. Mill St., Akron 44308.
