Sally Ann Leib, 78, passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 after a courageous battle with multiple illnesses.
She was born June 16, 1931 in Hutchinson, Kansas and was active in Montrose Zion United Methodist Church playing in the bell choir. She was an active member of Fairlawn City Women's Club and was formerly employed by the Summit County Board of Elections. She was a teacher and lover of music. Sally will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Esther Adams of Kansas; she is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert I. of Fairlawn; daughters, Peggy Ann Leib of Tallmadge, Susan Rob McCorkle of Lynchburg, Va.; sons, Thomas Debra Leib of Littlestown, Pa., Christopher Elizabeth Leib of Aurora, Ohio and David Liz Peyser Leib of Wichita, Kans.; grandchildren, Patrick, Brian and Samuel McCorkle, Alex, Andrew and Austyn Leib, Andrew, Samantha and Gena Leib; her best little friend, Lilly; and many many friends.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
