Sally L. Squibb-Somnitz

Sally Lynn (Settle) Squibb-Somnitz, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2024, at the age of 80 years old.

She was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1944 and adopted by Don and Marie Settle before moving up to Cuyahoga Falls at a young age, where she called home for most of her life. Sally graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1962, a member of the Office Assistants, before going to work as a secretary and office manager for several businesses, including Massey-Ferguson and The Darcy Group.

Sally was a loving and devoted mother to Mike and Jeff and grandmother to Alexis and Tyler, never passing up a chance to tell a story or three of anyone who would listen, sometimes to the subject’s embarrassment. She was also a caring pet-mom to many wonderful fur-babies through the years.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Marie; as well as her first husband, Tom. She is survived by current husband, Bill Somnitz; sons, Mike and Jeff (Jenny); stepchildren, Beth (Todd), Matt and Jennifer; grandchildren, Lexi and Tyler; step grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan, and Whedy; and great grandson, Nathaniel; as well as her brother, Tom (Alicia); and nieces, Alix (Alix) and Zoe (James).

Viewing is 1-3 P.M. SUNDAY November 3 at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23 Rd. St., Cuyahoga Falls, 44223. Funeral Service 11 A.M. MONDAY November 4 at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
