Salwa M. "Sue" Harrison, 98, went home to be with the Lord March 30, 2013.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she lived most of her life in Akron. She was a member of St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Walter; sister, Edna; brothers, Elias, Edward, Salem, Abe, and Sam; great-grandson, Jacob; she is survived by her son, Bob (Pat) Harrison; daughter, Terry (Darrell) Bland; grandchildren, Denise (Travis) Drenning, David Bland, Jennifer (Mike) Carter, and Anne Klein; great-grandchildren, Jared, Jordanne, Josh, Paige, Courtney, Matthew, Cameron, Chloe, Caitlyn and Lyvia; and great-great-grandson, Braden.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. THURSDAY at St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church, 600 W. Exchange St., with The Right Rev. Eugene S. Mitchell officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N.
