Sandra M Hamilton

Sandra M. Hamilton passed away suddenly at home on December 21, 2023 and she is now at peace and free of pain. She was born March 15, 1942 in Minneapolis and lived in Staples, Minnesota for the first 32 years of her life. In 1974, she married John Hamilton and moved to Akron, Ohio where they lived and raised their sons, Matthew and Christopher.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Birdie and Harold Hillman and her son Christopher J Hamilton.

Sandra will be dearly missed by her husband John, their son Matthew, daughter-in-law Christy and grandchildren Augustus and Isobel Sophia who live in St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by her sister Renee (Duey) Holm, niece Kristin (Drew) Goracke, their children Dawson & Savannah and Sandra's nephew Eric Holm.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 50 N. Prospect Ave. Akron, Ohio 44304 where Sandra was an active member for many years. The family will receive friends following the service in the Chapel Lounge.

Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
