Sandy Oehler, age 55, of Plain Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2013 after a short illness.
Born December 9, 1958 in Dover, Ohio, she was the daughter of Leroy and Jean (Shoemaker) Schupbach. Sandy worked for Pastoral Counseling Services of Summit County where she recently received the "Maggie Carol Smith" award.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Richard "Dick"; sons Scott (Stephanie) and Ryan (Alisha); grandson Shane; father Leroy Schupbach; brothers: Gary (Jennifer), Jim (Patty), and Randy Schupbach; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jean.
Friends will be received at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. on Monday from 5-8PM where services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 with Rev. Dr. Byron Arledge officiating. Burial will take place at the Henry Warstler Cemetery in Plain Township.
