Sharon Madoff Coudriet
Sharon Madoff Coudriet, 58, passed away December 12, 2008.

She has been an Akron resident all her life. After she graduated from Firestone High School, she attended The University of Akron where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She started her teaching career as a Spanish teacher at Archbishop Hoban High School, followed by over 30 years of teaching in Akron Public and Parochial schools. Most recently she taught at Garfield High School. Her passion for excellence in teaching Spanish was recognized when she was named Garfield High School's PTA Teacher of the Year in 2007.

Her love for musical theater and the arts began as a young girl when she took several years of tap, jazz, and ballet and went on to perform at The Goodyear Theater and with the Akron Repertory Company.

She is a true inspiration, as she faced life with courage, heart, wisdom, and selflessness. She exemplified what it means to love and truly live life. She had the ability to appreciate and relate to so many people from different walks of life.
