Sharon L. Whitten

Sharon L. Whitten, 76, of Norton, Ohio, born June 22, 1946, passed away August 24, 2022 surrounded by her family, after a 6-month battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)/Leukemia.

Sharon (Sheri) was preceded in death by her parents, Blodge and Anne Bukovey, and brother, Brian Bukovey.  She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward; sister, Mitzi (William) Cofer; brother, Larry Bukovey; sons, Keith (Lori), Mark (Deb), Scott (Kelly); daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Alexis, Payton, and Olivia; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Sheri loved taking care of her family and her home more than anything!  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a great cook. She loved hosting and cooking for holiday dinners and other holiday activities such as Easter egg hunts, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas cookies and gifts from Santa.  Spending time with family and spoiling her granddaughters was what made her happiest. She was very generous and always put everyone and everything before herself.  She will be greatly missed by all!
