Shirley A. (Livergood) Mcghee

Shirley A. (Livergood) McGhee , 69 of Cuyahoga Falls, peacefully passed away on June 22, 2024, with her husband and daughter at her side.  Shirley was born on May 21, 1955. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1973 and resided in Cuyahoga Falls her entire life.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Ronald (Sam) and Betty Livergood, in-laws David and Dorothy McGhee.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 49 years David; daughter Michelle (Matt) Mellor; granddaughter and pride and joy Natalie; sister Marylou (Scott) Parsons; brother David (Terry) Livergood; brother in-law Mark (Diane) McGhee; 5 nephews; 2 nieces.

Shirley enjoyed cookbooks, spending time with her granddaughter, and enjoying the Cuyahoga Falls Marching Tiger Band. She was a dedicated band supporter for over 4 decades.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on WEDNESDAY, June 26, 2024 at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd Street Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Funeral service will be held THURSDAY, June 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will follow the service at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, she requests donations be made to the Cuyahoga Falls Marching Band. Checks can be made out to CFCSD-BAND and mailed to 431 Stow Ave. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
