Spiros ``J' Sam Petsanis Spiros ``J' Sam Petsanis, 79, passed away October 12, 2011. Sam was a Korean War Navy veteran USS Helena, who was especially proud of his Greek Orthodox heritage. ``PaPou' was raised in Euclid, Ohio and a resident of Copley for over 50 years. He owned and operated Lenox Café for 25 years. He was an avid hunter, adventurer, and photographer who brought laughter and friendship on all of his travels. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and VFW. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanne; brother, Thomas Helen Petsanis; daughters, Marta Gary Vallish and Maria Leo Scalia; and son, Harry Petsanis; grandchildren, Matthew Spiros, Daniel, and Samantha Vallish, Katina and Kayla Scalia; many friends and relatives. Sam leaves many, many friends and relatives with fond memories of his humor, generosity, and storytelling. Service will be held 11 a.m. MONDAY at Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road, with Rev. Father Jerry F. Hall officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors conducted by Copley VFW 7971.
