Stanley Zisk

Stanley R. Zisk, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 13, 2013.

Born in Hudson, OH he was a life resident of Akron. Stanley was a former member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church and now St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was employed at City Chevrolet, McNeil Corp., and the Billow Funeral Homes.

Preceded in death by his wife, Florence; survived by son, Richard (Becky); daughters, Donna (David) Slifko, Susan (Jay) Stefaniak; grandchildren, Rick, Jennifer, Joey Zisk, Danielle Slifko, Jill Stefaniak; and many other loving relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice on Ridgewood and Cardinal Retirement Village for their compassion and care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Pl., Akron 44310. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy and Copley Veterans Post. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd.
