Steven A. Flowers, 54, died February 4, 2011.
Born in Lorain, Ohio, he was a resident of Sharon Center. Steven was a self employed contractor who could fix anything and would help anyone. Thou strong willed and physically imposing, his tender side was shown through his deep love of animals both domestic and wild. His wicked sense of humor, his fierce loyalty, and generous nature made ?Mr. Flowers? beloved by many and forgotten by few.
He will be especially missed by his wife of 25 years and his loving daughter.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Christine; parents, Ray and Barbara; brothers, James Valerie, Gary Cynthia and Raymond Nancy; sister, Nancy Primer Kevin; father and mother-in-law, Don and Carol Poe; brothers-in-law, Greg Poe Merry, Steve Poe Betsey and Doug Poe Katie; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, especially the Tubbs family.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, 317 E. Liberty St., Medina, Ohio 44256, with The Rev. Dr. C. Eric Funston officiating. A reception will follow. Private family inurnment at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Steve?s favorite charity, the Medina County Home.
