Steven C Peterson

Steven Charles Peterson, 49, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday March 22, 2014.
He was born in Ludington Michigan on October 7, 1964. He graduated from Ludington High School in 1983, and Michigan Technological University with associate degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering. He was currently employed as an engineering project manager at Ben Venue Pharmaceutical Company in Bedford and attended Grace Church.
Steve's great love was for his wife, sons and extended family. He was a very generous person and was always ready to lend a hand to anybody in need. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking with his family and friends. Steven also treasured spending time with his family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, riding his ATV and motorcycle, watching his sons wrestle, and sitting around a giant bonfire with his friends.
Preceded in death by grandfather, Vincent Peterson, and grandparents, Edward and Ruth Nordgren; he is survived by wife, Wendy; sons, Matt and Jake; parents, Charles and Nancy Peterson; brother, James (Amy) Peterson; sister, Susan (Carl) Boria; grandmother, Clara Peterson; mother- in-law, Marguerite France; father- in- law, Gary (Bridgid) Wardrope; brothers- in-law, Tom (Stacy) France; Steven; sisters- in- law, Sandi (David) Mruk, Angela (Bobby) Ina, Nicole (Luis) Cruz, and Kristy; many nieces and nephews; and good friends, the Hartjen Family, the Grajzl Family, and the Kerchenski Family.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, OH 44333 with Rev. Allan Peterson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time. A reception will follow at the Amvets in Richfield.
