Susan Marie Droman

December 3, 1955 — March 22, 2010

Susan Droman was a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend who lost her battle to cancer after a brave and courageous fight.

Susan epitomized grace during her struggle with this devastating disease. Always an over achiever, Susan demonstrated to all that the spirit is eternally strong even when the body is weak. Susan touched the hearts and lives of the many whose paths she crossed with her loving personality and genuine care and concern for others.

Susan had many great accomplishments early in her years which began December 3, 1955, when she was born in Huron Road Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Revere High School in three quick years, 1973 and moved on to Akron University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Design with a minor in German and Business. Soon Susan became the youngest broker, at the time, for Merrill Lynch where she worked for five years, before moving on to Prescott-Ball & Turban. During this time she was named Akron's Business Woman of the Year. As proud as she was of these accomplishments and her 13 years in the business community, the high point of her life was marrying the love of her life, Robert ``Robbie' Droman, on November 23, 1986. Long time Bath, Ohio residents, Susan and Robbie traveled extensively and walked the woods of Bath and the world hand in hand. Susan's passion for nature and beauty lead her to learn the Latin names of all the plants that adorned her lovely home which she designed.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Droman; parents, Edward and Shirley nee Pelstring Schloss; siblings, Richard Carol, Kathy nee Schloss Campling Joe, Edward Jr. Heather, Charles Sherri, Robert Yvonne, Kurt Linda, and James Brenda; brothersin-law, Greg Droman Marilyn, Dick Droman Rosie and David Droman Stephanie; best friend, Lisa Roth and Albert Purola, Jeanne Freuler; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many great neighbors and friends.
