Suzanne Hadley Himmelright

Mrs. Suzanne Hadley Himmelright, 86, was born Febuary 9th, 1926. She died peacefully on Sunday February 19th 2012 at Arden Court in Akron.

She is the widow of the late R. J. Himmelright Jr. who preceded her in death in 2007. She leaves behind her four children, R.J. Himmelright III, George H. Himmelright, Christina S. Hickman married to David Hickman, Anne D. Himmelright: four grandchildren, R.J. Himmelright IV and his wife, Allyson, Hadley H. George, Whitney D. Hickman, Marnie K. Hickman; and one great-grandchild, Nora R. Himmelright.

Mrs. Himmelright was born in Canton, Ohio as were her parents, Russell W. Hadley and Eva Cooper Hadley. Mrs. Himmelright spent her early childhood years living in Shanghai and Java, where she attended a Dutch school. She attended Lehman High School in Canton and Skidmore College. She married Robert Himmelright in 1950 and they lived in Hartville, Ohio, Akron, Ohio and retired to Delray Beach, Florida. Mrs. Himmelright was active in the Junior League of Akron, enjoyed golf, was a gourmet cook and a loving mother.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. SATURDAY, March 3rd. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Dr. Donard M. Engle officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour before services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, OH 44685.
