Suzanne was welcomed into the arms of her savior on October 31, 2011.
Suzanne was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a talented artist and musician. She sang with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and was soloist in the Church choir. She was a graduate of Cleveland Art School and The University of Akron.
Suzanne was a loving wife to her husband, Blin Scatterday for 56 years and a caring mother to her two children, Mark and Cynthia. Suzanne cared for many people in her lifetime, volunteered at the Church, taught at the YWCA, was a real estate worker for Boebinger and Reality One, member of Tuesday Musical and League of Women Voters.
Preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Sylvia Lindner; and her step father, Arthur Rush; she is survived by her husband, Blin Scatterday; sister, Elyssa Lindner, New York City; son, Dr. Mark D. Scatterday, Rochester, N.Y. and daughter-in-law, Leslie; daughter, Cindy Sabula, Milton, Ga., and son-in-law, Edward; grandsons, Michael and Connor; and cousins, Barbara and John Humphrey.
Calling Hours will be held 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, Ohio. A Memorial Service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N. Prospect, Akron.
