Sylvia Sanford (Waganfeald) passed away May 20, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer with her devoted husband and family by her side.
Sylvia was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 14, 1944. A graduate of Whitney High School in Toledo, Ohio, she continued her education at The University of Toledo. Sylvia was an avid gardener and was most at peace spending time on the water at Guilford Lake.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her father, Wilben Waganfeald; mother, Sylvia Szymzack, and brother, James Waganfeald. Her survivors are her husband, Patrick; children, Ron, Chris (Tami), Holly McLaughlin (Thomas) and Randy (Anita). Sylvia's grandchildren are Thomas, Madeline, Hannah, Keira, Hailey, Davis, Sloane and Tatum.
Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., THURSDAY from 4 to 8 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. FRIDAY at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Avenue.
