Terry M. Dickerson, 89, died Dec. 22, 2008.
Born in Danville, Illinois, he lived in Akron since 1957. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Coventry Lodge #9083, and American Legion Post #19.
Preceded in death by daughter, Teryl Gregor and sisters, Gwen Hutchison, Mary Campbell and Dorothy Baldwin, he is survived by wife, Irene; son, Wayne Debra; grandchildren, Emily and Joe Gregor and Ashley Dickerson; and nephew, Bill Teresa Baldwin.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Derek Starr Redwine officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1250 W. Exchange St., Akron 44313 or the Alzheimer's Association, 1815 W. Market St., #301, Akron 44313.
