Theodore Eugene Antonuk, 49, died on Thursday, January 29, 2009.
Ted was born on December 5, 1959 in Akron, Ohio. He was a lifelong resident of the Akron area. He attended Old Trail School graduated 1978, The College of Wooster B.A., English, 1982, and Ohio Northern University Law School J.D., 1985. Ted was an attorney in Akron, and was a member of The Akron Bar Association.
Ted was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Antonuk on October 19, 2001; grandparents, Sam and Mary Antonuk, Stephen and Anna Kowalyshyn; uncle, attorney Russell Kowalyshyn. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Antonuk of Akron; brother, Thomas Paul Antonuk of Akron; uncles, Stephen Martha Kowalyshyn, Dr. Theodore Mary Ann Kowalyshyn; aunts, Olga Michael Dorosh, Catherine John Fedko, Mary Ann Walter Dworakivsky, Mrs. Olga Mack; and many cousins.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron with Fr. John R. Nakonachny officiating. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 5913 State Rd., Parma, OH 44134.
