Thomas "Tommy" Griebel, 48, passed away unexpectedly July 5, 2009.
Born in Akron, he lived all of his life in Copley. Tommy was the Vice President of Duer Construction and the President of Mason Contractors Association NEO.
Preceded in death by his father, Alvin; he is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Kathy; mother, Agatha Griebel; brother, Larry Cynthia Griebel; sisters, Katherine Andrew Kasarda, Renata David Ochsenhirt; nieces and nephews, Christine Randall Diesz, Michelle Stiles, David Griebel, Russell Ochsenhirt, Mark Ochsenhirt, Joe Ochsenhirt; faithful companions, Buddy and Buster; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. Friends may call 2 to 4, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
