Thomas F. Luxmore, 76, died November 30, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on June 29, 1941 in Lakewood, Ohio. He was a graduate of Copley High School, Class of 1959 and a 1972 graduate of Kent State University. He served in the U. S. Army, artillery division.
Thomas was a carpenter and owned his own company. He was a member of the Ohio Carpenters Union. Thomas was an active member of the Northeast Ohio Mustang Club, the Flying Tigers Snowmobile Club, the Ohio Valley BSA Owners Club, and a life time member of the NRA. Thomas was a member of the Copley United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Luxmore and Ann H. Shatttuck; he is survived by his wife, Margaret "Marge" (nee Herman); sister, Debi (Bob) Zion; son, Dr. Brett Luxmore; stepchildren, Gary (Monika) Nowakowski, David (Jodi) Nowakowski, Steven (Lisa) Nowakowski; 4 grandchildren, Mason Luxmore, Taylor, Nicholas and Faye Nowakowski; and several nieces and nephews.
