Thomas Mudd

Thomas E. Mudd, age 91 of Akron went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 after a four year battle with Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease.
Born February 11, 1923 in Bardstown, Ky., he was the son Earl and Lorena (Bowling) Mudd.
Mr. Mudd retired from the Ruhlin Company where he worked in various capacities. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Akron.
Survivors include his daughters Elaine Stevens and Gail (Wayne) Douglas and son Jerry Mudd; grandchildren: Diane (Dave) Venus and Michael Stevens and Sara (Michael) Zerminski; one great grandson Andrew Zerminski; brother William "Buck" Mudd.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn, who died on November 11, 2011; son-in-law Jack Stevens; brothers Ted and Edward, and sisters Corrine Paulus and Mary.
Friends will be received at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. on Friday from 4-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St Paul's Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. Akron, 44301.
