Timothy Hill Duncan

Timothy Hill Duncan, 80, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 29, 2020. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 31, 1940 to the late Marshall and Evelyn Duncan. Tim was a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. He retired from The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company where he served as Sales Manager, Chemical Division, Latin America Goodyear International Corporation. He was previously employed by the Ameripol Synpol Corporation as Manager of Export Sales for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, and they recently celebrated 49 years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, Timothy (Jennifer) of Atlanta, Georgia and daughter, Babette Kielar of Hickory, North Carolina; grandchildren Chalen Duncan and Abigail (James) Duncan Mormando. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Iris Duncan Criscoe.

Tim was a proud, active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 37 years. Bluegrass music and his guitar, golfing with his son and friends, walking in the park with his dog Daisy and ice cream were a few of his favorite things. Following his wishes, Tim has been cremated. A memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later date when it is safe to gather together again.
