Twila June Hickok Forsyth

Following a long illness, Twila June Hickok Forsyth passed away at the age of 86 on Saturday, September 1 at Arden Courts of Bath, an assisted living facility in Akron.
Twila was born May 5, 1926 in Marion Ohio to Leona Burris Hickok and Robert Delno Hickok. She attended public schools in Marion and later attended Ohio Northern University. She married William Richard Forsyth of Marion on July 21, 1943. She moved to Akron Ohio in 1958 and lived there until her death. Twila was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church while living in Marion, and of Westminster Presbyterian Church after moving to Akron.
She is survived by her husband, William of Akron; son, Keith and daughter-in-law, Susan of Philadelphia, Pa.; grandson, Adam Forsyth of Chicago; grandson, Micah Forsyth of Philadelphia; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road in Akron, 330-867-4141.
Additional calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday September 4, and from Noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday September 5 at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger-Snyder Funeral Home, 360 E. Center Street, Marion, OH, 740-387-9136. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, with burial immediately following at Marion Cemetery, 620 Delaware Ave.
Mourners may send flowers to the funeral home of their choice, or may send a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, 800-272-3900, www.alz.org .
