He was the Owner and President of VN Strategies, Inc.
Preceded in death by wife, Helen, Val is survived by sister, Wanda Woody Rodgers; sisters-in-law, Albina Kordich, Bertha Hoffman, and Diana Steel; nieces, Susan Keith, Holly Mark, Laura Michael, Kathy Martin and Linda Alex; nephews, Scott Robin, Tom, Jim Kim, and Ken Shannon; great-nieces, Maddie, Juliette, Lauren, Josie, Kristen, Jessica, Lauren, and Julia; great-nephews, Spencer, David, Jacob, Zachary, and Alex.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. on SATURDAY at St. Hilary Catholic Church, with Fr. Frank Basa officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Hilary School Endowment Fund, 2750 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44333.
