Vaughn Lee Duncan
Vaughn Lee Duncan passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.
She was born in Akron on April 2, 1932 to Ocie Wyer Duncan and William N. Duncan. A life long resident of Akron and Cuyahoga Falls, she spent the last 25 years living at a Hope Home in Tallmadge, Ohio. Vaughn attended the Tallmadge Workshop for many years. She was a joyful person and loved to be with people. She especially loved attending The River of Life Church in Greentown where she would joyfully sing hymns. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her sister, Mary Duncan Cox, brothers, Harold V. McIntire and Milton Duncan, she is survived by brothers, William Duncan of Stow, and Thomas Clip Duncan of Copley, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Bill Howe officiating. Interment will be next to her parents at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Homes, 2300 Call Rd., Stow 44224.
