Vera Vivian Talley
Vera died peacefully on November 11, 2013 at age 88. She was a lifelong resident of Akron where she was born on May 20, 1925 to Anna and Theodor Wester. She graduated from Central High School and retired from the M. O'Neil Co.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Talley; brother, Harold Wester; and sisters, Eileen Lewellyn and Alice Hopkins; she is survived by her three children, Cynthia Kirk (Edward) of Columbus, OH, Timothy Talley (Roseanne) of Washington, DC, Tod Talley (Monica) of Arlington, VA; grandchildren, Joseph and Anna Talley, Adam Kirk (Teri); great-grandchildren, Henry and Madeline Kirk; and brother, Allan Wester.
The family would like to thank the staff of Rockynol Retirement Community and Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurses for their dedicated and thoughtful care.
Vera will be inurned at Rose Hill Burial Park following a private ceremony. She will be remembered with love by her family and with fondness by those who knew her. May she rest in peace. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
