Vinod Shah, 68, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2009.
Vinod was born on October 19, 1940 in Bombay, India. He came to the United States to study in 1963. He was self-employed as a chemical engineer for many years. He had a love of friends, fine food and travel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jayshree; son, Ameet Jennifer of Sterling, Va.; daughter, Ameera of Wilmington, Del.; granddaughters, Olivia and Madeline.
A memorial service will take place 11 a.m., Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel 85 N. Miller Rd, Akron. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society 525 N. Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406 Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel.
