Virginia Flemm

Virginia L. Flemm, 93, died November 19, 2014. .

Born in San Diego on December 6, 1920, she was a 1937 graduate of Buchtel High School. She was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she served as treasurer and communion chairperson of the Altar Guild; a member of the American Business Women's Association and the volunteer guild at Weathervane Playhouse. She was employed for 32 years with American Investment Company as an Auditor traveling in several states and spent 5 years as secretary to the Sr. Vice President. Miss Flemm ended her career in the insurance department of Coastal Industries.

Preceded in death by brothers, Ralph F. and Harold E.; sister, Gloria Ellinger; sister-in-law, Grace Flemm; and dearest friend, Kenneth Hoffman; she is survived by nieces, Carol (Daniel) Seiberling, Ruth (John) Stefanik, Mary Beth (Timothy) Wott, Karen (Richard) Crellin, Cynthia O'Korn, Kathleen (Robert) Glidden, Patricia Walls, and Virginia Crowell; nephews, Edward Flemm, John (Lori) Flemm. Ralph (Amy) Foster, William Flemm, and Jack (Terry) Ellinger; many great nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Linda (Daniel) Kinsey and Dr. Larry (Marey) Hoffman.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. TUESDAY, November 25 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. David Nevergall officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. MONDAY, November 24 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N.
