Virginia B. Lisle, age 90, passed away November 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born June 19, 1927, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Irene Bera; son, David Charles Lisle; and grandson, Thomas Raymer.
She leaves behind to mourn her death the love of her life, Virgil, after 70 blessed years of marriage. A kind and loving mother, she will be missed by her three beautiful daughters, Christine Boone (Ian), Janet Magelaner (Thomas) and Susan Will, (Jeff). She took great pride and enjoyment in her four grandchildren, Julie Weese, (James), Adam Will, Ryan Will, and Melanie Will. Julie and James blessed her with a great-grandchild, which in honor of her, was named Virginia.
Virginia was a proud graduate of North High School, graduating with the class of 1945. She never missed a reunion. She loved her many friends and was known for her hospitality, generosity, and the best pies that anyone ever tasted. She was active in her community and within organizations including the Junior Women's Civic Club, P.E.O., and the Akron City Club where she served as Financial Officer for many years.
Through the love and forgiveness of her Lord Jesus Christ, she has been reunited with family and friends and dwells in the house of the Lord. This belief consoles her husband whom she has shared her life, as he waits on the Lord to be reunited with her forever.
A private service will be held for the family. Friends may call from 3:30 to 5 p.m. FRIDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd.
