Viva Sarah Andrus, 97, died September 1, 2010 in Richardson, Texas.
Born February 7, 1913 in Murray City, Ohio, she graduated from West High School and went to work for the Summit County Probate Court. She was a former member of Fairlawn West United Church of Christ, past president of Braewick Circle Garden Club, and had been an interviewer for the University of Chicago.
Preceded in death by her husband, George and sister, Ruth Manchester, she is survived by her daughter, Sally Evans; sons, George and Bill Andrus; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and sister, Garnet Freysinger.
Services will be held 1 p.m. THURSDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Dr. Donard M. Engle officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home WEDNESDAY from 6 to 8 p.m.
