Vivian D. Franklin, 72, passed away peacefully December 15, 2008.

Born in Canton, she lived all of her life in Akron. She was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.

Preceded in death by her brother, Dr. DeLorre Haddad and sister, Diana Archer, she is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Paul; sons, Rick Vicki, Andy Shelly; and grandchildren, Dr. Nicholas, Andrea, Nichole, and Drew.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3204 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn, with Rev. Fr. Louis Mahshie officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., where a Trisagion service will be held at 7 p.m. No flowers please. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
