CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Walter R. English, 61, died November 23, 2009.
Walt was best known for his love of family and music, especially the drums.
As a U.S. Army Veteran in Vietnam, he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was owner of Summit Entertainment Consultants and a former longtime employee of Akron City Hospital's Hemotology lab. Originally born in Akron, Ohio, he resided in Cuyahoga Falls and is a member of the Northhampton United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Selena; daughter, Colleen Imes; and father-in-law, Robert Gojkov; he is survived by his wife, Becky English; children, Loren and Rhianna English, Angela Hansberger Marc; grandchildren, Ben and Will Hansberger; brother, Ed English Mary; sister, Janice Salmons Ray; mother-in-law, Dee Vittorella Paul; brothers-in-law, Bob and Tim Gojkov; many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. He will be missed by many.
Services will be held 11 a.m. MONDAY, November 30th at Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bath Rd., with Eli Dorman officiating. Friends may call at the Billows FALLS Chapel, SUNDAY, November 29th from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Veterans Foundation at
