Warren ``Bo' Davidson was born March 4, 1933 and died February 8, 2010 at Akron General Medical Center.
Bo was born in Lakemore, Ohio and was a graduate of Springfield High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1956, spending most of his Navy career sailing around the world on the USS Wasp. After his discharge from the Navy, he began a fifty year career in the auto sales industry. Since 1991 he was employed by Godard Auto Sales and Leasing in Medina.
Bo was preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbara; his parents, Creed and Alta Davidson; and sister, Billie Thomas. Bo is survived by his brother, David Judy of Amherst, Ohio, his sister, Elizabeth Faust William of Akron, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. He loved being a father to his children, Kandace Zollman Franke of Maryland, Kim Clarke, Heather Shepherd Bill, Beth Davidson and Cathy Corcoran Mark of Florida, Kellie Honkala Paul of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, David Davidson Melissa of Uniontown, Ohio, and Jody Joe Zalis of Phoenix, Arizona. Bo's life was doubly blessed with thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Many were touched by his gentle, thoughtful spirit, and the world is a much emptier place without him.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Billows Falls Chapel, 1907 23rd Street, with Pastor Franke Zollman officiating. Burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be conducted by Firestone VFW Post 3383. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services. If desired, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 23297 Commerce Park, Cleveland OH 44122. Billow FALLS Chapel
