Warren E Graves

Warren E. Graves, 90, passed away December 20, 2014.

Born in Akron on November 20, 1924, he was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. A U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, he was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and the University of Akron. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ and had retired from Kent State University as an auditor.

Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Emma and brother, Thurman "Dig" Graves; he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Jo; son, Steven (Sherri) Graves of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters-in-law, Joan Antic and Karen Purvis; brother-in-law, Dale Stairs; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Rev. Richard Hasler and Rev. Andrew Courtney officiating. Interment with Military Honors at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087. (Billow FALLS Chapel)
