Rev. William L. Clark, 91, died August 2, 2012.
He was born in Montgomery, W. Va. to Aaron and Ola Haskins Clark on May 20, 1921. He was a graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served in the U.S. Army Transportation Corps during World War II where he was stationed in Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. He was a retired American Baptist minister serving churches in West Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio.
Preceded in death by first wife, Jessie; sisters, Caroline Plaugher and Theresa Gene Anderson; grandson, Christopher Clark; and son-in-law, Tom Adams; he is survived by wife, Esther Warffuel-Clark; daughters, Patricia (Michael) Childers of Waynesboro, Va., Gail Clark-Adams of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Annette (John) Cioci of Struthers, Ohio; sons, Alan Lee (Lynn) Clark of Poland, Ohio and Glen (Arden) Clark of Ft. Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special niece, Edie English; and special family friend, Deb Click.

Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Northminster Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Stephanie Crossland and Rev. P.R. Newhart officiating. Interment at Newark Memorial Gardens.
