William "Bill" Ederer
Bill Ederer passed away March 13, 2009.
Bill was a lifelong resident of Akron where he was born August 28, 1919. Bill was a machinist for Adamsons United and retired from Wean United after forty years of service. He was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church where he served on Church Council for many years. He enjoyed family camping trips across the United States visiting National Parks and Monuments. After retiring, he loved to take family and friends on one of his boats to Lake Erie for walleye.
Preceded in death by wife, Inez; he is survived by sons, Jack Kim of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and Jay of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters, Jill Andy Pressler of Uniontown and Janice of Akron; grandchildren, Christopher Kathy, Pamela and Karis; great-grandchildren, Luke and Ava; and brothers, Alan of Akron and Roger Virginia of Okemos, Michigan.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of St. Luke Lutheran Home for their loving care of "Pappy".
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Jean Hansen officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 2726 W. Market St., Akron 44333.
