William A. Lohnes, 77, passed away August 29, 2009.
William was born in Glenfield, Pennsylvania and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He retired from Yellow Freight as a Truck Driver, enjoyed fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen; first wife, Nancy Faulk Lohnes. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; loving family, son, William Debbie; daughters, Deborah Lohnes, Judi John Greenhoe, Terri Randy Schindler, Tracy Greathouse and Jimmy; step-daughter, Jennifer Michael Gerzeny. He will also be missed by his eighteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother, Richard; sister, Jean Donald Merriman, and many nieces and nephews.
Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. David Cutler, Dr. Richard May, Dr. Stephen Bodjanac and Dr. David Cola. It's been a long journey. Thank you for being with us every step of the way. Deepest appreciation to Hospice & VNS nurses and aides.
Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with burial to follow at West Richfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Richfield Paramedics, 4410 W. Streetsboro Rd., Richfield, OH 44286.
